Chihuahua Puppies For Sale
I have built a Chihuahua breeding program for the sale of puppies and dogs based on what I consider to be the three most important elements that create a dog of distinction; a good temperament, perfect health and conformation, and beautiful faces. I have spent many years breeding my Chihuahua puppies to be healthy and good-tempered but also to have the Luxe look of lovely, rich coat colors and beautifully proportioned faces.
What to expect:
Chihuahuas are the smallest puppies in the world. They weigh as little as 2lbs and rarely are more than 6lbs (1 to 3 Kgs). They stand about 5in high. Chihuahuas have a rounded skull. In some, there is a soft spot on the top of the head where the bones have not joined. This is called molera. They have large prick ears with short pointed muzzles. Their eyes are round and large. Chihuahua puppies are longer than they are tall and have a fairly long tail that is carried up or over the back.
They exist in 2 types. One is smooth and short. The other is long and soft with fringed ear and legs. The Chihuahua coat comes in almost any color and pattern.
Chihuahuas live a long life, with a typical life expectancy of about Fourteen yrs.
Personality & Living With:
Chihuahuas are very good companion pets. They love attention and show allegiance to their owners. Chihuahuas are an active breed of dogs and like to be kept occupied. Nevertheless, they are widely considered lap dogs.
Although Chihuahuas make for a good family pet when treated shown respect, but they have a reputation for snapping at strangers or small children who may be intimidating to their small size.
Like many other small puppies, they may be more prone to barking than some larger dogs. They can also seek to overpower their owners and be somewhat temperamental.
Intelligent and fiercely loyal to the people they love, Chihuahuas will happily accompany their owners anywhere and everywhere.
It is good to note that they have separation anxiety, as such they will be happiest in households where there’s always someone around.
Chihuahua Grooming
Chihuahua can be long or short haired, with both types requiring weekly brushing.
You do not have to bathe your puppy more than once a month, and you can wait longer if your dog stays inside most of the time.
Use grooming time to also check your Chihuahua for any lumps or signs of parasites.
Do not forget to check your puppy's eyes for redness and sadness, and inspect their food for any signs of a strange smell or other particle contamination.
Health
In other to offer healthy puppies for sale, We work diligently and tirelessly to breed Chihuahuas that will improve the health of the breed. We perform genetic testing on all of our breeding dogs. We strive to produce Chihuahuas that will remain healthy for many years to come. Our adults and puppies undergo routine blood work to screen for health concerns, as well as throughout and regular physical exams, Our passion for this breed, makes their health our top priority. Our breeding choices are made, always with the health of potential puppies in mind. All breeders should be DNA testing their dogs for with the tests available for their breed. Please do some more research to learn what the Chihuahua breed is at risk for.

Hi Jon and Jimmie: We thought you would like to see how Kiwi and Gator are doing since we got them from you in January. They are doing very well and they indeed have very different personalities. Buddy is extremely active, and is kind of the alpha dog, while Cody is very low key and goes with the flow. They "fight" all the time, but they do not seem to hurt themselves.
